Born and raised in London, I have a great passion for film photography. I love using cameras from the past and experimenting with different types of film. I also occasionally shoot digitally and with instant film. It’s all about the experience, not how sophisticated the gear is.

My Photographic philosophy

Although I primarily shoot in film, I love all aspects of photography whether its shot and on a mobile phone, the latest mirrorless camera or an Instax mini. A lot of photographers I have come across seem to be a bit elitist when it comes to photography and poo poo others if they don’t shoot with the latest and greatest digital gear. To be honest whatever people choose to use to capture their images is fine by me.

The reason I choose to shoot mainly on film, is the fact I get to develop and edit my pictures myself. For me the whole process from loading the camera to shooting, developing, scanning, editing and then finally printing the photo is amazing and extremely enjoyable.

The last thing I would consider myself to be is a brilliant photographer, I’m an OK photographer who occasionally pulls of a half decent photo. Sometimes I can go out with my camera and come up with results I’m happy with, and sometimes I can go out shoot a whole lot of rubbish (although there’s normally a couple of gems even on bad days).

I started this site just to put my humble efforts out there. I never want to make money from my work, for me (and as pretentious as this sounds) its all about the art. I just hope that any one else who might come across my work gets a little bit of joy out of it too.
